Ability to return Battlefield 2042 omissions as additional content

In recent weeks, there have been numerous reports of deleted content from Battlefield 2042 during game development, which are detailed below.

This week, Tom Henderson, a whistleblower and person close to the gaming industry, announced the Battlefield 2042 development team ‘s intention to create chaos on the map using climate change.

He also noted that this feature will be phased out in the summer of 2020 and that the development team will focus solely on implementing tornadoes.

According to him, it seems that this removed feature has completed the final stages of its development and may eventually be added to the game as additional content.

Following is a summary of Tom Henderson’s revelations:

All events from volcanic eruptions to floods and other climate change in the summer of 2020 have been postponed to focus on tornadoes.

He further added:

I’ve heard that they want to come back as events DLC, but we’ll see.

Unfortunately, this is not all that Henderson has revealed, and as expected, Electronic Arts and DICE have not released any official material on either of these, and it is not expected that this will change in the short term. Slowly

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. But what is clear is that Battlefield 2042 will need strong post-release support to make this plan a reality. Depending on the game’s poor performance and reputation, this support may be compromised, leading to a reduction in these services by Electronic Arts.

Title Battlefield 2042 Available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox S Series, X and PC.
