Guide to completing Bounties in the eighth season of Fortnite

Bounties play an important role in receiving the Gold Bar in the eighth season of Fortnite, so getting to know them can be helpful for player development.

Fortnite lets you earn some gold bars and XP by completing bounties. This section was first added to the game in the fifth season of Fortnite, inspired by one of the Call of Duty Warzone contracts. Now, Bounty is back in Epic Games’ Battle Royale season 8.

Whether you are looking to complete Punchcard missions or just want to earn some extra gold, this article has everything you need to know about Fortnite Bounties and all Bounty Board locations.

How to complete Bounties in the eighth season of Fortnite

All you have to do is find a Bounty Board, get close to it and press the interaction button for “Start Player Bounty”. You will then receive the name and shell of the target player and a six-minute timer that counts down the remaining time.

Like Warzone, the player’s location appears as yellow circles on the map, but you can only see some of his location. Therefore, you should search the specified area to find them and at the same time be careful that it does not identify your target. Once the enemy is identified, you can kill him. Depending on the circumstances and the skill of your target, this will be either quick and easy or very difficult. Completing the Bounty will reward you with gold bars.

If another player destroys your target, you will receive less gold than usual. If your Bounty contract expires before you reach and kill your target, you will not receive any gold bars.

In short you should:

  • Approach the Bounty Board and accept the Bounty contract
  • Find your target inside the circle
  • Destroy your target in six minutes

As mentioned, you need to find a Bounty Board to start Bounty. There are 18 of these boards scattered throughout the island, which you can see below:

  • Believer Beach
  • Boat Dock near Lockie Lighthouse
  • Boney Burbs
  • Bus Stop in the northeast of Lazy Lake
  • Camp Cod south of Catty Corner
  • Catty Corner
  • Dirty Docks
  • Dusted Depot East Convergence
  • Fancy View west of Believer Beach
  • FN Radio on a hill east of Craggy Cliffs
  • Hydro 16 East Sludgy Swamp
  • Misty Meadows
  • Pylon south of Steamy Stacks
  • Risky Reels North of The Convergence
  • Sludgy Swamp
  • Stealthy Stronghold
  • The Orchard Farm North of Corny Crops
  • Weeping Woods

You can start Bounty by visiting any of these places, but we recommend choosing one near the center of Fortnite Island or near a crowded place. This will generally give you a better chance of completing a Bounty.

Just make sure you have the right set of weapons so that you can defeat your target more easily. Sideways weapons such as Sideways Scythe may also be useful in completing bounties.
