Concept images, names and details of two new and exclusive Xbox titles have recently been leaked on the internet. These two titles are made by Obsidian and Compilation studios.

Although Microsoft did not start the first year of its new generation consoles well at all, but finally, during the last stages of 2021, it was able to attract the positive opinion of many of its audiences with its successful titles and great service. Recent weeks have seen the release of titles such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Age of Empires IV, and Forza Horizon 5, all of which have broken big and small records. Of course, the success of Forza Horizon 5 was impressive, and the game attracted 4.5 million gamers just 24 hours after its release.

Like Netflix, Microsoft has always focused on its own dedicated service, and as mentioned, the presence of the gamepas service can be considered a turning point for Microsoft’s entertainment division, the Xbox. Of course, turning this service into a steady stream requires different prerequisites, and this means that new content must always be considered for it. Of course, Microsoft is aware of this, and in addition to the games listed, many titles including Halo Infinite, Starfield, State of Decay 3 and Redfall will be added to the service at launch.

These are not the names of the whole story, and other titles such as Hellblade II, Perfect Dark and several other games will be available in the near future. On the other hand, a quick look at some of the unannounced Xbox exclusive games reveals that titles like Project Dragon from IO Interactive, Project Belfry from Stoic Studios, and a few other Microsoft-supervised games for Pellet. These companies are under construction. In addition, Project Cobalt from inXile Studios and Avowed from Obsidian can also be considered interesting games for Xbox owners.

Of course, we should not forget that the names of some of the upcoming Xbox games have not been released yet, and thanks to the leaked information, we were able to find the names and information of some of the two upcoming Xbox exclusive titles.

Midnight project from Compilation Studio

Name of Compilation Studio (CompulsionWas buried in the hustle and bustle of Microsoft Shopping, and many gamers forgot that such a studio had joined the Xbox family. This studio is known as the creator of We Happy Few game, which was mostly noticed for its artistic design. The sophisticated landscape of We Happy Few, conceived from fallen Britain, gave us a really compelling concept and proved that we are dealing with a carbald studio in terms of design.

However, details of Compilation Studio’s first game as an Xbox subset have recently been revealed. The title, now codenamed “Midnight”, is apparently a third-person action game set in a dark and, of course, extraordinary design world. The concept images of this game show its main character next to the Harpy humanoid creatures. To the left of the image, we can see something resembling houses built in the style of a harpy nest on top of a tree.

Midnight is based on popular South American fairy tales and is surrounded by magic, exotic animals, and a Gothic atmosphere mixed with Latin atmosphere. This game will be completely single-player and story-based, and much emphasis has been placed on its narrative quality.

At the moment, there is no other information, including the possible or official release date of Midnight, but it is likely that the game will not be released at times such as 2023 or 2024 when the Xbox is in its title traffic. Of course, this issue is also related to the level of ambition of the production studio and the amount of progress made in the development of this game.

Game Pentiment from Obsidian Studio

Some time ago, Jeff Grubb confirmed Obsidian Studios’ efforts to develop an unannounced game made in the style of indie and independent titles. Thanks to the leaked information, it seems that Jeff Grubb intended Pentiment. This game is made by a small team led by the creator of Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity, Josh Sawyer.

The word “Pentiment” means an image in the lower layers of a painting, and the name of this game is related to its genre and space. During the game, gamers in the form of a researcher or detective in the sixteenth century will search for the truth behind a horrific murder.

Jeff Grubb pointed out that the game Pentiment will have similarities to Disco Elysium, which, incidentally, Josh Sawyer also has a special skill in this area. In this game, gamers can research different characters and selectively identify criminals and innocents. Naturally, wrong decisions in this game can lead to unpleasant consequences. Overall, Pentiment will be a title based on dialogue and exploration.

The revealed details show that this game is being made by a team of 12 people and is more similar to the titles of role-playing and adventure. Also, achieving extraordinary artistic design is one of the goals of the game’s production studio. Jeff Grubb also noted that Pentiment is exploring “experimental” gameplay elements, although their presence in the final version is in a haze. Finally, Jeff Grubb claimed that the game Pentiment will be released in a surprise in 2022.

In addition to the above two games, the names of two unannounced Xbox exclusive titles have been released, but unfortunately little information is available about them. The first game bears the code name Vonnegut, which probably refers to the name of the famous novelist Kurt Vonnegut. In addition, there is another first-person shooter game called Ramsey “Velvet” on the Xbox lineup, but unfortunately no other information is available.

Given that Microsoft is investing in the gaming industry with all its might and capital today, entering the second golden era of the Xbox in the coming years will not be far off at all. What do you think about this?
