Qualcomm and Razer have developed a development kit for the next generation of mobile games that supports the Snapdragon G3x silicon.
website videocardz.com It has received several images from Qualcomm that include the company’s new Snapdragon chipsets for 2022 products, one of which is the G3x chipset, which is specifically designed for a handheld gaming console.
Developed in collaboration with Razer, this development kit has a 120Hz HDR OLED display and a large 6000 mAh battery. According to the website, the device works as a game streaming console that supports Xbox Game Cloud service and streaming through consoles or even PCs.
The new flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Generation 1, will be 20% faster and 30% more energy efficient than Qualcomm’s current flagship processor. The first-generation Snapdragon 8 will be built using 4nm processing technology and will feature a fourth-generation Adreno GPU.
Qualcomm expects 30% higher GPU performance and 25% energy savings from its new architecture. Interestingly, in Vulkan, the GPU has to run 60% faster. All of this is compared to the “previous generation” of the company’s processor. More information will be available as soon as this device is unveiled.
